Emergency Medicine – Physician Assistant Rush Oak Park Hospital, Oak Park, IL – part of Rush University System for Health. We invite applications for the Physician Assistant position within the Emergency Department. Department Overview Our Emergency Department serves more than 47,000 patients annually with an average 58 hours of physician coverage and 40 hours of mid‑level provider coverage daily. The new ER opened October 2019 features 22 private rooms and 10 Fast Track treatment areas. Appointment is convenient 10 miles from downtown Chicago. Schedule Rotating 10‑hour shifts alongside twenty full‑time Emergency Medicine Physicians and two Advanced Practice Providers. Night shifts are currently not required but may be added as needed. Two weekend shifts (four shifts) are required per four‑week block. Preferred Qualifications Licensed Physician Assistant (PA) who functions as a member of the health care team providing high‑quality acute and/or routine medical/surgical care within the scope of practice granted by Rush University Medical Center bylaws. The PA collaborates across disciplines to ensure cost‑effective, quality patient care, and exemplifies Rush mission, vision, and values. Successful candidates meet all state and federal regulatory practice and accreditation standards. Position Requirements Current licensure from the State of Illinois as a Physician Assistant/Associate Successful completion of an accredited Physician Assistant/Associate Program Maintains State of Illinois and Federal DEA license Must have Rush University Medical Center (RUMC), Rush Oak Park Hospital (ROPH), and Rush Copley Medical Center (RCMC) clinical privileges, as applicable CPR, ACLS, and PALS certifications Excellent communicator Compensation $124,610 – $175,000 annually. #J-18808-Ljbffr
