Discover the life that awaits you at Accor, visit careers.accor.com Do what you love, care for the world, dare to challenge the status quo!Opportunity to develop your talent and grow within your property and across the world!Ability to make a difference through our Corporate Social Responsibility activities and our Diversity & Inclusion initiativesLearning programs through our AcademiesJob Title: Payroll SpecialistReporting to the Assistant Director of Finance & Business Support, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:Consistently offers professional, engaging and friendly serviceVerifies employee changes done through interface are accurate and match paperworkProcesses bi-weekly payroll using time and attendance and payroll systems, ensuring accuracy and complianceProcesses manual payroll checks as neededGenerates and saves payroll related reports for the DOF/ADOF to prepare the payroll journalsRuns daily labor reports from Dayforce and Unifocus (Watson)Familiarity with Unifocus as a backup admin userReconciles and audits all payroll-related taxes/benefits bi-weeklyTrains new leaders on the payroll system and processCompiles audit packages for each payroll to ensure all paperwork has appropriate approvals and meets with standards and procedures guidelinesLiaises with Talent and Culture regarding pay related items, including rates of pay, employee questions, employee changes, and complianceManages and communicates vacation balance report for all departments in the hotelFollow departmental policies and proceduresFollow all safety policiesPerforms other related duties and participate in special projects as assignedRate of Pay - $33.65 - $36.05 per hourQualificationsComputer literacy in Microsoft Window applications or relevant computer applications requiredExcellent communication and organizational skillsStrong interpersonal and problem solving abilitiesHighly responsible and reliableAbility to work cohesively as part of a teamAbility to focus on guest needs, always remaining calm and courteousExperience with Dayforce and Unifocus preferredPrevious Office Administration and Hotel Accounting experience preferredExperience with union regulations preferredPhysical Aspects of Position (including but not limited to):Constant standing and walking throughout shiftFrequent lifting and carrying up to 20 lbsFrequent kneeling, pushing, pulling, liftingOccasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and rampsFairmont Sonoma Mission Inn & Spa, an elegant Spanish mission-style Inn, boasts exceptional accommodation in the heart of Wine Country.
