Retirement Plan Services AssociateHybrid Schedule in Southfield, MI or Memphis, TNDescription:This person will be responsible for supporting the Retirement Plan Services department. The majority of their role will involve processing forms and performing basic transactions, such as handling roll overs, internal transfers, and death certificates. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Answers and responds to email inquiries regarding issuesProcesses forms and performs basic transactions, such as handling roll overs, internal transfers, and death certificatesAccurately diagnoses issues and provides client driven solutions that also meet IRS regulatory requirementsInterprets rules and regulations by applying retirement plan knowledgeConducts audits of account activity to ensure transactions meet regulatory complianceReviews client requests for corrections to determine proper course of action and provide guidance to branch personnel on resolutionMaintains knowledge of retirement plan rules and regulations by utilizing internal and external resources, as well as continuous trainingCommunicates, researches and resolves issues with other internal departmentsReviews daily reports of individual productivity to evaluate personal performanceSkills:Must score at least 5500 KPH w/ at least 85% accuracy on above assessment (takes 1 min)2+ years of RECENT experience w/in financial services—ideally retirement planning industry OR someone who has graduated with a Bachelor's degree in finance or related field and some professional work experience is preferred. Experience w/ a CRM, preferredCall center experience/phone experience, preferred + strong professional demeanor (verbal/written)MS Office SuiteMinimum HS diploma, BS preferredJob Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of St. Petersburg, FL.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
