Key Responsibilities
Daily Operations
- Manage day‐to‐day office workflow, including scheduling, check‐in/out, and patient flow.
- Maintain office policies, procedures.
- Coordinate with vendors, service providers, and facility maintenance.
- Oversee outpatient gastroenterology procedures.
Staff Leadership
- Supervise and support front‐office staff; assist with hiring, onboarding, and training.
- Create staff schedules and ensure adequate coverage.
- Promote a positive, team‐oriented work environment.
Billing & Financial Support
- Liaise with billing company to correct problematic claims as needed.
- Monitor collections of copays, balances and patient responsibilities.
Compliance & Quality
- Ensure adherence to HIPAA, OSHA, and payer‐specific regulations.
- Oversee accurate medical records and release‐of‐information requests.
- Support internal quality‐improvement initiatives.
Technology & Systems
- Manage EHR/EMR workflows, tickets and staff training.
- Troubleshoot basic system issues and coordinate with IT support.
Patient Experience
- Address escalated patient concerns with professionalism and empathy.
- Monitor satisfaction trends and implement service improvements.
- Ensure a clean, welcoming, and efficient office environment.
