Positions can be based out of Tampa, Sarasota, or Orlando but we will also consider other local offices in the region.We believe transportation is more than movement, it’s the foundation of connected, thriving communities. We are all employee-owners at HDR, which is the foundation of our collaborative culture that connects employees around the world.Primary ResponsibilitiesPlan and manage all aspects of small to medium single-discipline engineering projects or large, routine projectsIndependently coordinate work of engineers and balance planning team throughout entire project’s developmentEstablish client relations and be involved with marketing, contractual, design and production meetingsLead internal and external design teams to foster a collaborative design and production process.Coordinate workload throughout entire project development, and ensure completion of documents on scheduleTrack financial aspects of projects, and coordinate and adjust work effort with team to ensure that work is completed within parameters of agreed-to scope, schedule and budget.Work with Business/Accounting Manager or Project Controller and Department Manager for project reviews and with company management as neededPerform other duties as neededPreferred Qualifications:Experience managing highway/roadway engineering projectsExperience in marketing including leading the preparation of presentations and technical proposals to FDOT and Florida local government agenciesPMPLocal candidatesQualificationsRequired Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering 10 years related experience A minimum 5 years project management experience Professional Engineer (PE) license MS Office and MS Project experience (Access experience would be plus) Demonstrated leadership, business development and strategic planning skills An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a mustWhat We BelieveHDR is our company.
