Senior Quality Inspector

*** SIGNING BONUS AVAILABLE *** Senior Quality Inspector SmartHire is looking for a Senior Quality Inspector for a client in the Everett WA area. This is a full time, direct hire role. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge Metrology, GD&T, and MBD, proficient with industry related software and knowledge of AS9102 standards.
PAY: $78k - $114k DOE + sign on bonus
SCHEDULE: Monday through Friday 530am - 2pm - occasional overtime BENEFITS OFFERED : Medical, Dental and vision, disability, 401k, EAP, FSA, pet insurance, tuition reimbursement, free parking, PTO, paid holidays and more! This position requires extensive knowledge of Metrology, GD&T, and MBD, along with the practical application and implementation of each within a model-based manufacturing environment. The role supports organizational success in today's digital manufacturing landscape while contributing to the ongoing transition toward full digital integration and compliance. To perform this role successfully, an individual must be able to carry out each essential duty effectively. The qualifications listed below represent the knowledge, skills, and abilities required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. • Proficient in the use of inspection tools and equipment, including calipers, micrometers, scales, height gauges, and surface plates.
• Strong understanding of GD&T principles and related mathematical applications.
• Ability to program, operate, and troubleshoot advanced metrology equipment and associated software with minimal supervision or training.
• Solid working knowledge of the proper use, maintenance, and care of precision metrology equipment.
• Proficient with computer systems and industry-related software applications such as PolyWorks, SolidWorks, and similar platforms.
• Knowledge of AS9102, ASME Y14.5, and other applicable aerospace and manufacturing industry standards.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities with a proactive and solution-focused mindset. #STHMG
