Job Title: Warehouse Worker

Job Description

Join a dynamic team as a Warehouse Worker, where you will play a vital role in facilitating the smooth operation of our warehouse. We are seeking individuals for both 1st and 2nd shift openings to efficiently manage materials for saw operators and ensure seamless movement throughout the shop.

Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down hilos and overhead cranes to load and move inventory within the warehouse.
• Collect materials from the warehouse and deliver them to saw operators.
• Transport finished products to the Shipping & Receiving area for delivery.
• Handle and pack materials using RF scanners and ensure the safe loading of inventory.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in reading tape measures with precision (5/8 and 7/8 measurements).
• At least one year of experience operating sit-down forklifts.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in steel, recycling, or heavy-duty environments is preferred.

Work Environment

The work environment is a dark, damp steel facility, ideal for individuals accustomed to challenging work settings. Employees will engage in physical tasks requiring strength and resilience in a robust industrial atmosphere.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Troy, MI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
