Mobile Barista

DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic barista to join our mobile coffee truck team. As a barista, you will be the face of our coffee truck, responsible for delivering excellent customer service and crafting top-notch coffee beverages for our valued customers. Key Responsibilities:

• Coffee Preparation: Expertly prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, including lattes, cappuccinos, espressos, and specialty drinks. Ensure consistent quality by following precise recipes and using high-quality ingredients (we will train you on everything you need to know!)
• Customer Service: Welcome customers warmly, take orders with a smile, and provide exceptional service, ensuring a positive experience for every customer. Be knowledgeable about the coffee offerings and confidently answer any questions. Suggest menu items, seasonal beverages, and promotions to customers, enhancing their coffee experience and encouraging repeat visits.
• Cash Handling and Sales: Handle cash and card transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Coffee Truck Setup and Takedown: Assist in the setup and takedown of the coffee truck before and after operating hours, ensuring all equipment and supplies are ready for service.
• Maintaining Cleanliness: Keep the coffee truck and work area clean and sanitized at all times, adhering to health and safety standards. This includes regular cleaning of equipment, countertops, and utensils.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Ability to work independently with limited supervision after training period.
• Food handler's certification or ability to complete certification.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for operating the truck.
• Cash handling skills and basic math abilities.
• Punctuality and flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and special events.
• *Prior experience as a Barista or in a similar customer service role is preferred but not mandatory, we will teach you what you need to know.*

Physical Requirements:

• Stand for extended periods and lift/move heavy supplies and equipment.
• Work in an enclosed space within the coffee truck, exposed to heat and noise.

REQUIREMENTS

• Clean Driving Record
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Reliable Transportation
• Minimum 18 Years old
• 1+ Year Barista Experience Preferred
• Valid Driver's License
• Must be available 5am-3pm week days
