We are seeking highly qualified candidates for the following opportunity.

Manufacturing Engineer

Position Summary: This position is an on-site role . Recommend and implement improvements to production processes, methods and controls in accordance with quality standards and customer specifications.

Position Responsibilities:

• Perform product/process analysis for cost reduction, quality improvement, and improved efficiency.
• Work closely with Maintenance Techs troubleshoot, modify equipment, improve line layout, update equipment, etc.
• Prepare and present plans for production process improvement and coordinate implementation including training of affected associates.
• Improve and update standard operating procedures, safety, quality control and job-related training.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Controls Engineering or related field OR Associate’s degree with related experience.
• 2-5 years of experience in manufacturing processes highly preferred.
• Experience with PLC’s and HMI/MMI programming
• Experience with Robotics (Fanuc, Motoman, Panasonic) and Welding (Resistance and Mig) highly preferred.
• Ability to lead and participate in project teams.
• Excellent organizational, communication and coordination skills.
• Able to travel occasionally and work flexible hours as needed.

Work Environment:

• Plant and office environment.
• Regularly exposed to dust, grease/oil, odors, noise, smoke, etc.

F&P America Manufacturing offers competitive salaries and overtime, at straight-time, after 50 hours per week. Additional eligible pay includes bonus potential. We offer excellent benefits (Medical, dental and vision as little as $8 per week for all), including generous Paid Time Off, 401k with employer match, and 100% paid uniforms. Must be able to pass a post- offer drug screen as well as a criminal background check.
