Concord,NC Description Our client, the U.S.'s largest commercial real estate services firm, is seeking a Commercial Electrician tosupport a new client location in Concord, NC. This contract-to-hire position is ideal for an experienced electrician with strong commercial or industrial electrical experience who enjoys preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and working in a fast-paced facilities environment. This is a client-facing role supporting a new site, with opportunities to work independently while collaborating with a skilled maintenance team. The schedule is Monday-Friday, 6:00 PM-6:00 AM with alternating weekends. Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

- Perform preventive maintenance (PM) and scheduled electrical maintenance on facility equipment and systems
- Inspect, repair, and maintain commercial and industrial electrical systems
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical components including wiring, lighting, motors, switches, controls, panels, and related equipment
- Complete daily equipment inspections and report any maintenance concerns
- Review historical maintenance records to support preventive maintenance planning
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and identify effective repair solutions
- Perform new electrical installations and equipment modifications as needed
- Ensure all electrical systems operate safely and comply with company safety standards
- Document completed work and maintenance activities using a CMMS system when applicable
- Communicate professionally with clients, vendors, and internal team members
- Participate in daily team check-ins and complete assigned maintenance tasks
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
- Support additional facility maintenance projects as assigned
- High school diploma or GED required
- Trade school education or completion of an electrical apprenticeship program preferred
- 5+ years of commercial or industrial electrical experience
- Strong knowledge of commercial and industrial electrical systems
- Experience performing preventive maintenance and scheduled maintenance activities
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position, including climbing ladders, standing for extended periods, and lifting up to 50 pounds
- Valid driver's license
- OSHA 10 Certification
- Electrician's License
- Experience using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
- Experience working in commercial facilities, manufacturing, or industrial environments
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic experience
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Professional, team-oriented attitude with the ability to work independently when needed
