What You’ll Do As a CNC Machine Operator, you’ll play a key role in keeping production running efficiently and safely. Your day-to-day will include:
- Operating CNC machinery to cut and shape materials based on production orders
- Reviewing and prioritizing daily production schedules to meet deadlines
- Loading materials and inspecting them for quality before and after processing
- Selecting and entering the correct programs into CNC control panels
- Performing quality checks to ensure all products meet specifications
- Identifying and reporting any defects or production issues
- Supporting team goals and assisting with additional tasks as needed
- Ability to read a tape measure and work with basic math (decimals & fractions)
- Basic reading and writing skills
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
- Manufacturing or CNC experience preferred (but not required)
- Must be at least 18 years old
