Supervisor I

Responsibilities Supervising, labor management, and planning of inbound, outbound, product slotting, and customer communication activities daily Labor scheduling, space utilization, equipment and manpower management Hiring and training, planning and assigning daily work Conducting performance appraisals, addressing performance issues and resolving problems Supervising the receiving, warehousing and shipping of products Ensuring the development of systems and procedures for managing operations Compliance with terms outlined in the site’s operating agreement with the client Managing operations to meet prescribed productivity and service goals Implementing and reporting on‑going cost savings measures Conducting regular meetings with staff to assess group’s overall status Requirements High school diploma or general education degree (GED) 3 years’ experience working in a logistics, distribution, or relevant environment 1 year experience in a supervisory role Prior MHE certification or knowledge of basic MHE operation (preferred) Satisfactory completion of a forklift training program Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) Experience with RF scanners Knowledge of WMS functions English (reading, writing, verbal) Hard Skills Logistics Management Performance Appraisals Space Utilization Equipment Management Forklift Operation Product Slotting Cost Savings Implementation Daily Work Planning Staff Communication Problem Resolution Soft Skills Team Leadership Effective Communication Problem Solving Staff Training Performance Management Certifications & Qualifications MHE Certification Forklift Training Program Completion #J-18808-Ljbffr
