  • Monday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
    
  • Tuesday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
    
  • Wednesday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
    
  • Thursday: Training / MGE (No Patients)
    
  • Friday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
    
• Pay: Up to $25.00 per hour (DOE)
  

Job Description

The Dental Hygiene Scheduler is responsible for maintaining an efficient and productive hygiene schedule while providing an exceptional patient experience. This role requires someone who is organized, proactive, confident on the phone, and skilled at building value with patients. The ideal candidate understands the importance of patient retention, recall management, and schedule optimization while working collaboratively with the clinical team to meet daily production goals.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a productive hygiene schedule with minimal openings
  
• Schedule, confirm, and coordinate hygiene appointments
  
• Manage patient recalls and reactivation campaigns
  
• Reduce cancellations and no-shows through effective patient communication
  
• Answer incoming calls professionally and enthusiastically
  
• Build rapport with patients while creating urgency for preventive care
  
• Coordinate with doctors and hygienists to maximize daily productivity
  
• Maintain accurate patient records in Open Dental
  
• Utilize Weave for patient communication
  
• Deliver exceptional customer service at every patient interaction

Requirements

• Previous dental front office or hygiene scheduling experience required
  
• Experience working in an MGE practice or a strong understanding of high-tone communication is highly preferred
  
• Excellent verbal communication and relationship-building skills
  
• Strong understanding of recall systems and schedule management
  
• Experience with  Open Dental preferred
  
• Professional, dependable, and highly organized
  
• Positive attitude with the ability to thrive in a goal-oriented environment
  
• Team player who enjoys contributing to practice growth
