As a Physical Therapist Assistant at Elara Caring, you will provide high-quality care to patients in their home environment, following the Plan of Care as established by the supervising Physical Therapist. You will ensure quality and continuity of care, promote the organization's mission, and contribute to the success of the healthcare team.

• Perform physical therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist in accordance with physician orders and established standards.
• Verify the Plan of Care prior to each visit and report any change in patient condition.
• Incorporate patient goals into therapy interventions.
• Instruct patients and families in the safe and appropriate use of assistive devices.
• Teach home therapy programs to patients and caregivers.
• Maintain compliance with state practice guidelines.
• Work in a physically demanding and high-stress environment that may include lifting, positioning, and transferring patients.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program approved by the American Therapy Association.
• Current, unrestricted PTA license in the state of practice.
• At least 6 months of experience preferred.
• Must have reliable transportation, valid drivers license, and auto insurance.
• Ability to travel within the local coverage area (up to 50%).
