Job Title: Speech - Language Pathologist – IRP 2 Department: James | SSCBC Oncology Rehabilitation Position Summary The Speech-Language Pathologist is a member of the James Ambulatory Care Team and provides personalized health care to patients throughout our outpatient clinics. The SLP specializes in the assessment and treatment of various voice and swallowing disorders, particularly those related to head and neck cancer. The SLP’s expertise in the larynx supports the diagnostic and treatment process in collaboration with otolaryngologists, pulmonologists, and other medical professionals. As an IRP (Internal Resource Pool) staff member, the SLP provides coverage as needed to supplement department staffing. Qualifications Master’s degree in Speech Pathology or equivalent combination of education and experience. Certification of Clinical Competency from the American Speech‑Language‑Hearing Association and Ohio Licensure in Speech Pathology required. Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY/SLP) may be considered. Typically, one to two years of experience working in a medical setting.
