Manufacturing Technician |  South Charlotte 28273| 2 :00  p m – 12 : 30 a m |  Thursday -  Sun day  | $20 .00+  per hour DOE

What Matters Most:

• Shift times: 2:00 pm – 12:30 am Thursday - Sunday
• $20.00+ per hour depending on experience
• Located in South Charlotte off Westinghouse Blvd
• May be required to train on 1st shift 3+ months
• Weekly pay

Job Description

• Complete Crystal Growth process (from start to finish) utilizing Manufacturing Process Documents to include:
  • Weighing, measuring, and mixing raw materials
  • Building and operating furnaces
  • Preparing and operating growth chambers
  • Starting, monitoring, and ending growth runs
  • Harvesting and inspecting final products
• Other essential duties include:
  • Maintaining all Crystal Growth stations and support equipment
  • Keeping complete and accurate records of all processes and data related to crystal growth
  • Contributing to Lean Manufacturing Team initiatives
  • Actively participating in keeping a safe, efficient, orderly, and clean workplace 
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications

• High school diploma/ GED required
• Associate degree or 2-year technical degree preferred
• Mechanical aptitude and good math skills required
• Experience with basic hand tools and measuring devices including calipers and rulers required
• Computer experience with the ability to work with spreadsheets required

The base pay range for this position is $20.00+ per hour depending on experience.  Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future growth.
