The Metal Finisher plays a crucial role in ensuring that metal products meet specified aesthetic and functional standards. This position involves preparing metal surfaces, applying various finishing techniques primarily focused on painting, and conducting thorough quality inspections. Working in a mass production environment, the Metal Finisher also performs regular maintenance on equipment to ensure smooth operations.
Responsibilities
- Prepare metal surfaces for finishing
- Apply painting and other finishing techniques
- Inspect finished products for quality and consistency
- Polish and buff metal surfaces to achieve desired appearance
- Clean metal components prior to finishing
- Apply protective coatings
- Perform regular maintenance on finishing equipment
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in metal finishing
- High school diploma or equivalent
