Job Title: Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours (06:30 - 19:00) Experience: Minimum of 3 years License: Valid state or compact license required Certifications: NRP, BLS, ACLS required; AWHONN Intermediate and STABLE preferred Must-Have: - Must have experience with a patient ratio of 1:3. - Familiarity with EPIC charting system is required. - Must adhere to attendance policies. Description: L&D RN Days Shift: Day (3x12s) This role involves providing care for women during labor and delivery. Ratios of 1:3 are maintained for patient care. Candidates must have 3 years of experience in a similar role. Weekend shifts are required, with a maximum of 16 per contract. No on-call requirements are associated with this position. The clinician will float within scope to meet facility needs. Travel experience is not required. Additional certifications such as AWHONN Intermediate and STABLE are preferred. The unit provides care for neonates, adolescents, and adults. Daily census averages around 10 patients, with a delivery volume of approximately 50 per month. The staffing model values teamwork and flexibility. Professional development and teaching opportunities are available within the unit. Candidates must commit to the start date, and no changes will be accepted. Maximum of 5 days of time off is permitted during a 13-week assignment. During holidays, no time-off requests will be approved. All assigned modules must be completed before the start of the position.
