Inventory Control Specialist - FC

Position Overview : Assuring that inventory is correct.

Essential Job Functions :

• Counting items and assuring that the inventory is correct in TCM in order to ensure proper production planning
• Executing projects including incorporating new items into the warehouse and also the discontinuation of items.
• Ability to use a forklift and Joey (training provided)
• Comply with established safety policies and be able to safely use the equipment provided in a safe manner, including shutting down machinery suspected of being unsafe.

Non-Essential Job Functions:

• Other duties as assigned by the Inventory Control Supervisor

Training : Provided on the job

Experience :

• Two years of warehousing / inventory preferred
• Experience with Outlook, Word and Excel preferred

Qualifications:

• Associate’s Degree or higher preferred
• Critical thinking skills
• Ability to problem solve
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure

Organized and motivated

Safety:

• Comply with Established safety policies and be able to safely use the provided equipment in a safe manner; includes, shutting down machinery suspected of being unsafe.

Physical Requirements :

• Sitting / Computer work for long periods of time
• Standing / Heavy lifting
• Ability to lift up to 40 lb. boxes repeatedly
• Ability to work independently and safely

Working Conditions : Warehouse is hot in the summer months and can be cool in the winter.
