Patient Coordinator (Multi-Location)

Fusco Personnel is currently recruiting for a Patient Coordinator to join a growing healthcare practice in the Capital Region. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment and takes pride in delivering excellent customer service.

The Patient Coordinator serves as the first point of contact for patients, providing a welcoming and professional experience while supporting daily front-office operations. This role is responsible for scheduling, patient communication, administrative support, and coordination with clinical staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients, ensuring a positive first impression
• Confirm and update patient demographic and contact information
• Schedule appointments in accordance with office policies and provider availability
• Prepare and manage patient paperwork for new and returning visits
• Answer incoming calls and respond to patient inquiries
• Communicate important updates with clinical staff as needed
• Collect and post patient payments (in-person, phone, or mail)
• Verify and gather insurance benefit information
• Coordinate with external offices regarding referrals, records, and documentation
• Scan and upload patient documents into electronic records
• Maintain organized and accurate patient files
• Perform additional administrative duties as assigned

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in a customer service or administrative role
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
• Experience in a dental or medical office is a plus, but not required

Pay Range:

$19 – $23/hour (based on experience)
