Travel Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) – Behavioral Health Unit

We are seeking an experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) for a 13-week travel assignment in an acute care Behavioral Health Unit. This is a full-time day shift position, Monday through Friday, working 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with 40 guaranteed hours per week.

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments for behavioral health inpatients.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment and discharge plans.
• Provide individual, group, and family therapy as appropriate.
• Coordinate discharge planning and continuity of care with the interdisciplinary team.
• Deliver psychoeducation and psychotherapeutic interventions to patients experiencing acute mental health conditions.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.
• Perform crisis intervention and behavioral health evaluations when needed.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record.
• Support care coordination and oversee social work functions within the Behavioral Health Unit.

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) from a CSWE-accredited program.
• Current Oregon Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license, or eligibility as a Clinical Social Worker Associate working toward Oregon LCSW licensure.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent social work experience, with at least 1 year in a healthcare setting.
• Experience working with behavioral health or psychiatric inpatient populations.
• Strong knowledge of psychosocial assessment, crisis intervention, discharge planning, and care coordination.
