Job Title: Cath Lab Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Cath Lab Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year in Cath Lab License: Active state license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ARRT (BD), ARRT (R) Must-Have: Cath Lab experience is required. Flexible scheduling and willingness to take call are essential. Previous experience in all procedures of Cath Lab Diagnostic and Interventions is a must. First-timers are not accepted for this position. Description: We are seeking a Cath Lab Tech for a busy lab environment. The role involves staying until all cases are completed. The schedule includes three 12-hour day shifts from 08:30 to 20:30. You will be required to work one weekend every 4-5 weeks, from Friday evening to Monday morning. Call responsibilities include two weekday nights and a weekend call every 4-5 weeks. The Cath Lab performs a high volume of procedures such as LHC, RHC, PCI, CTO, and others. You will work with various special equipment and technologies. The average daily census is between 35-45 patients. Staffing ratios are 1:1 for patient care. Additional skills required include diagnostic and interventional procedures, IABP placement/removal, and recognizing life-threatening arrhythmias. Recognition of sterile technique and maintaining a sterile field are mandatory. We are looking for candidates with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. This position does not allow for RCIS or RCES certifications. Candidates must be competent in all aspects of Cath Lab procedures for adult cardiology and structural cardiology.
