Job Description:
Implementation experience on Warehouse Management COTS products
Blue Yonder Warehouse Management solution expert for transformational projects/programs
Strong domain knowledge in WMS solution to understand how the COTS solutions can be configured and delivered to better facilitate customer business processes.
Strong domain knowledge to construct an overall architecture for current and future customer business needs.
Key contributor to the Change Management efforts for global or regional program implementations
Ability to prepare and deliver presentations for user, management, and executive level audiences.
Provides advice to customers regarding industry best practices and process methodology.
Assists Project Manager(s) in planning efforts.
Able to ask appropriate questions to assess business needs that fall outside the standard solution, assess integration complexity, architecture constraints.
Can demonstrate and facilitate integration discussions of product functionality and product architecture (i.e. Show data and process flow from one WMS solution to another)
Lead the project team to design and develop functional specifications for modifications, interfaces, reports, and screens to ensure smooth integration between technical and functional business requirements.
Lead the project team in preparing Product Requirement Specifications, test plan for modifications.
Interact closely with Development services in modification development, quality delivery and organizing demonstrations with customers on modifications.
Creates and modifies procedural and system documentation throughout the project.
Supports the development and execution of test scripts to ensure BY software consistently meets the customer's business objectives.
Serves as a technical liaison and attends and contributes to key meetings between Project Manager, key customer contacts, and customer users, up to and including key executive project sponsors.
Responsibilities:
Conducts technical analysis sessions with clients and/or the project team to understand the technical needs of the client and develops technical solutions to meet those needs.
Provide variety of technical support to the project team, including quality assurance/design review, environment setup, software installation, configuration, report and label generation, operation consulting, troubleshooting, system testing
programming.
Responsible for services delivery of product implementation and related integration.
Works as a senior member of a consulting team on product implementation, enhancement, managed services, integration, custom projects either at the customer site or offshore.
Handles activities with a diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.
Exercises judgment on methods and techniques for obtaining solutions within generally defined practices and policies.
Co-ordinates project tasks on engagements.
Designs and develops platform workflow/ user interface, integration scripts, ETL mapping, data modeling and data loading.
Provides internal training, implementation support activities, or work on internal development projects.
Ensures knowledge transfer is conducted with key customer project team.
Communicates business cases to Product Management Group and Product Development team regarding customer specific needs related to product functionality and enhancements.
Interacts with PMG
PD regarding new releases and new functionality and act as the liaison to communicate to the rest of the team.
Desired skills and experience:
10+ Years of corporate experience
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or Engineering or other relevant discipline.
Expertise in technical configuration of WMS product, Solution Integration, Quality Assurance, System Testing, PLSQL, SQL Server, and Performance Tuning.
Hands-on Experience on Technical Configuration of WMS product (preferably WMS) , Jasper reports, Nice labels, Page builder and MOCA.
Knowledge on interfaces between WMS and ERP/Host, TMS, WLM, T T, Parcel, 3rd party system that integrates with WMS.
Ability to resolve complex problems with minimal guidance.
Excellent computer skills with in-depth knowledge of operating systems, client/server technology, ERP systems, Integration and Middleware technologies and applications
Ability to develop and maintain strong, productive relationships with customers, partners, and consultants.
Strong proactive communicator and presenter, able to influence and collaborate at all levels of an organization to maximize problem resolution while effectively presenting information and responding to highly specialized technical questions.
Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently effectively and proactively.
