Description

• Conduct thorough evaluations for patients in inpatient or outpatient setups and prepare tailored treatment plans
• Execute physical therapy techniques catering to mobility, strength, balance, and overall functionality
• Work alongside nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation professionals to maximize patient outcomes
• Inform patients and their families about therapeutic goals, discharge strategies, and home exercise routines
• Create detailed documentation of evaluations, treatments, and patient progress in line with facility protocols and regulatory frameworks
• Engage in interdisciplinary conferences and care team rounds to ensure seamless care coordination

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or a comparable degree from a recognized institution

Certifications

• State licensure as a PT / Licensed Physical Therapist
• CPR certification is preferred
• Specialized certifications (such as neurological or geriatric) are advantageous but not essential

Skills

• Previous experience is highly desirable
