Position: Contract Custodian
Pay: Starting at $14.00/hour with merit-based raises
Shift: 1st Shift, Monday through Friday

The Lee Group is seeking dependable and hardworking Contract Custodians to join a valued client’s team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment. Job Responsibilities of Contract Janitors

• Clean the interior of buildings, including floors, carpets, rugs, windows, and walls
• Disinfect frequently touched surfaces such as desks, door handles, office equipment, and phones
• Empty trash and recycling bins
• Stock and maintain cleaning and supply rooms
• Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors
• Clean and sanitize restrooms
• Wash windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces
• Dust furniture, fixtures, and other surfaces
• Operate floor scrubbers and other cleaning equipment
• Monitor cleaning supply inventory and request replenishment as needed
• Report unsafe conditions or maintenance concerns to supervisors
• Perform other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications of Contract Janitors

• Previous custodial, janitorial, or housekeeping experience preferred but not required
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
• Ability to follow safety procedures and cleaning protocols
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements of Contract Janitors

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, reaching, and lifting
• Ability to lift and carry cleaning supplies and equipment as needed
• May be exposed to cleaning chemicals and industrial cleaning products
• Must be comfortable working in various indoor environments
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively

• 1st Shift
• Monday through Friday
• Consistent daytime schedule
