Entry Level Claims Call Center Specialist

What does a Bilingual Claims Representative do at GAINSCO? Learns insurance terminology, knowledge and skills required to document and begin processing claims. Learns initial claims processing from the first notice of loss. Learns the fundamentals of proper claims handling practices, including how to resolve coverage issues and determining liability through the investigation process. Learn how to set vehicle inspections and assist in managing the repair process. Uses GAINSCO claims systems and other technologies to document reports of loss and transfer claims as necessary for resolution. Serves as the first point of contact for claims resulting from accidents involving GAINSCO policyholders. Provides exceptional customer service while obtaining detailed information regarding the facts of loss. Answers general claims related questions from customers and agents regarding losses. What is required? Education High School Diploma or Equivalent. Licenses/Certifications Active licensure is not required at the time of application or hire. Candidates must be eligible to obtain a Texas or Florida Adjuster License. The required license must be obtained by passing the applicable state exam within two (2) attempts. All licenses must be maintained in good standing and in accordance with applicable state requirements. Upon hire, additional license(s) may be required. If that is the case, license(s) must be obtained. Training 10 weeks of training: Monday–Friday, in office daily from 8:00 AM–5:00 PM. Post-Training Schedule (First 90 Days) Monday–Friday with one of the following shifts: (8am-5pm), (8:30am-5:30pm), (9:00am - 6:00pm) Hybrid schedule: Monday- Wednesday in-office, and WFH Thursday and Friday. Note: WFH days may change at any time depending on staffing and performance. Experience Demonstrated success in customer service capacity. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume call center. Other skills and abilities Ability to learn and apply claims practices. Excellent verbal, written communication and listening skills. Ability to manage time while prioritizing multiple tasks. Have an aptitude for providing information in a clear, concise manner with an appropriate level of detail, empathy, and professionalism.
