Producción General configura y opera maquinaria CNC de fresado y torneado para fabricar piezas de precisión, realiza cambios de herramientas y ajustes de compensación (offsets), ayuda con la carga de materiales y lleva a cabo inspecciones de calidad utilizando herramientas de medición. Este puesto también apoya tareas de ensamblaje y cableado, sigue

planos y diagramas detallados, y contribuye al mantenimiento de un entorno de producción limpio, seguro y eficiente.

Responsabilidades

• Configurar máquinas CNC de fresado y torno para fabricar piezas de precisión según las especificaciones.
• Realizar cambios de herramientas y ajustar compensaciones (offsets) de la máquina para garantizar un mecanizado preciso y eficiente.
• Ayudar con la carga de materias primas y componentes en la maquinaria CNC.
• Leer e interpretar planos y diagramas para el mecanizado de piezas.

Habilidades esenciales

• Mínimo de 2 años de experiencia en la operación y configuración de maquinaria CNC.
• Capacidad para leer e interpretar planos y diagramas de mecanizado.
• Experiencia práctica utilizando herramientas manuales y eléctricas en entornos de producción o manufactura.

Habilidades y calificaciones adicionales

• La experiencia en mecanizado manual es una ventaja.
• Se prefiere formación técnica en CNC o estudios en una escuela de oficios.
• Experiencia en tareas de cableado dentro de entornos de producción o ensamblaje.
• Familiaridad con procesos de fabricación y lectura de planos.
• Comodidad trabajando con herramientas manuales y eléctricas durante períodos prolongados.

This is a Contract position based out of Sioux City, IA.

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $37.00/hr.
