Locums - Derry, New Hampshire, Emergency Medicine Opening

Start Date: September 1, 2026

Assignment Duration: 3 months

Practice Setting: Emergency Department

Facility Details:

Estimated annual volume: 10,000 visits during year one
24 hours of physician coverage
10,000-square-foot Emergency Department
11 emergency treatment bays, including a fully equipped trauma bay
Separate adult and pediatric waiting areas
All private treatment rooms
State-of-the-art imaging services including:
- CT
- Ultrasound
- Radiology
Dedicated ambulance bay for EMS access

Patient Care Model: Patients requiring inpatient admission will be transferred to the main campus with seamless handoff to intensivists, hospitalists, and specialty physicians.

Responsibilities:

Evaluate and treat Emergency Department patients
Manage a broad range of acute and emergent conditions
Coordinate care with EMS, specialists, hospitalists, and intensivists
Facilitate appropriate transfers and admissions as needed

Requirements:

Board Certified Emergency Medicine (BCEM) - Required
Board Certified Family Medicine (BCFM) with Emergency Medicine experience - Required
Board Certified Internal Medicine (BCIM) with recent Emergency Department experience - Required
