Project Manager - Wind

Description Westwood Professional Services, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager in our wind energy market. The Project Manager will join a highly experienced and dynamic team leading our Wind Market into an exciting sustainable energy future. Requirements What You’ll Be Doing As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing complex and/or multi-service projects. You will ensure the successful completion of projects within scope, schedule, and budget, while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships and delivering high-quality results. In addition, you will provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members and collaborate with service leads to coordinate project activities. Your key responsibilities will include: Take full accountability for multiple wind energy projects. Manage stakeholder relationships, both internal and external. Coordinate and manage project teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration. Develop and implement project plans, monitoring progress and making adjustments as needed. Oversee project work and ensure deliverables meet quality standards and contractual obligations. Track project health and take corrective action when necessary. Manage uncertainty and change, such as scope creep and change orders. Ensure timely invoicing and accounts receivable collection. What You’ll Bring Bachelor's degree in a technical, business, or project management related field 2-6 years of experience in a project coordinator, project developer, or similar role Professional licensure in a technical field, CAPM, or related certification Strong organizational and time management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment Proficiency in project management software and tools Attention to detail and ability to multitask Problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities Knowledge of project management principles and methodologies Excellent problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities. Nice to Have Experience in the wind energy industry. Experience managing complex and/or multi‑service projects. Experience with program management. Advanced knowledge of project financial management. Experience with contract negotiation and management. Strong leadership and mentoring skills. Excellent presentation and public speaking skills.
