Registered Nurse IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Job Summary:

Provides skilled nursing care to patients in the Intermediate Care, PCU, or Stepdown units, utilizing the nursing process to deliver evidence-based treatment. Collaborates effectively with the healthcare team to promote a healing environment focused on patient-centered care.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with healthcare team members through Shared Governance to ensure quality, evidence-based care.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate and uphold the PRIDE core valuesProfessionalism, Respect, Involvement, Dignity, and Excellencein all job duties.
  
  
• 
  Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members to support patient recovery.
  
  
• 
  Maintain accurate documentation and utilize computer systems for patient records.

  Ensure compliance with safety, clinical, and regulatory standards.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold a valid license as a Registered Nurse with at least 1 year of intermediate care or step-down experience.
  
  
• 
  Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing with an Associates or Bachelors degree preferred.
  
  
• 
  Possess current BLS certification; ACLS certification required.
  
  
• 
  Exhibit strong communication and computer skills.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate a commitment to professionalism and evidence-based practice.
