eCommerce Growth & Operations Associate

Position Summary

The eCommerce Growth & Operations Associate supports the growth and day-to-day operation of the company’s eCommerce business across both the 1P eCommerce platform (website and mobile app) and third-party marketplaces .

This role works cross-functionally with eCommerce, Marketing, Merchandising, Store Operations, Product, and other internal teams to execute sales growth initiatives, improve platform and marketplace performance, and identify operational opportunities through data and customer insights. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, commercially minded, and interested in developing experience across eCommerce growth, digital marketing, customer loyalty and retail operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1P eCommerce Platform Management:

• Support daily management and operation of the company’s 1P eCommerce platform, including website and mobile application.
• Monitor online assortment, product availability, pricing, promotions, merchandising, and overall customer experience.
• Identify platform issues and improvement opportunities and coordinate with Product, IT, Merchandising, and Operations teams.
• Support the launch and optimization of new eCommerce features, services, promotional programs, and operational initiatives.
• Analyze customer behavior and platform performance to identify opportunities to improve conversion, engagement, retention, and sales.

Third-Party Marketplace Management:

• Manage and support day-to-day operations across third-party marketplace channels, such as Instacart, DoorDash, Uber Eats, and other emerging platforms.
• Maintain product listings, pricing, assortment, promotional campaigns, and marketplace content.
• Monitor marketplace sales performance, order operations, out-of-stock rates, cancellations, fulfillment performance, and other key KPIs.
• Coordinate with marketplace partners and internal teams to resolve operational issues and improve channel performance.
• Identify marketplace trends and growth opportunities to expand sales and customer reach.

Sales Growth & Performance Analysis:

• Analyze eCommerce sales, traffic, conversion, basket size, customer behavior, promotional performance, and other business KPIs.
• Identify sales trends, underperforming categories/SKUs, and growth opportunities across 1P and third-party channels.
• Develop actionable recommendations to improve sales, product assortment, promotional effectiveness, and customer engagement.
• Prepare recurring performance reports and communicate key findings to internal stakeholders.
• Support the development and tracking of eCommerce sales targets and growth initiatives.

Retail Operations Insights & Enhancement:

• Use eCommerce data to identify operational opportunities related to inventory availability, out-of-stock items, fulfillment, assortment, and store execution.
• Provide actionable insights to Store Operations, Merchandising, and Category Management teams to improve retail performance.
• Monitor customer feedback, order issues, cancellations, substitutions, and other operational indicators to identify root causes and improvement opportunities.
• Support the development and implementation of operational processes and SOPs that improve order accuracy, fulfillment efficiency, and customer experience.
• Bridge online customer insights with store-level execution to support an integrated omnichannel experience.

eCommerce Marketing & Growth Strategy:

• Support the development of eCommerce marketing plans and promotional calendars across 1P and marketplace channels.
• Coordinate with Marketing and Merchandising teams on promotional products, seasonal campaigns, digital promotions, and customer acquisition initiatives.
• Analyze campaign performance and provide recommendations to improve ROI, conversion, customer acquisition, and retention.
• Support customer growth initiatives, including promotions, loyalty programs, targeted offers, and marketplace campaigns.
• Research competitors, market trends, customer behavior, and emerging eCommerce opportunities to support growth strategy.

Customer Loyalty & Retention:

• Support eCommerce loyalty and retention initiatives by analyzing member behavior, purchase frequency, customer lifecycle, points usage, and campaign performance to identify opportunities to increase repeat purchases, customer engagement, and long-term customer value.
• Coordinate with Marketing and internal teams to execute loyalty promotions, member-exclusive offers, customer re-engagement campaigns, and other retention initiatives.
• Provide customer insights and recommendations to improve loyalty program effectiveness and strengthen the relationship between online and in-store customer experiences.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, eCommerce, Analytics, Retail Management, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in eCommerce, marketplace management, retail operations, digital marketing, business analytics, or a related area preferred.
• Experience with eCommerce platforms or third-party marketplaces is preferred.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable business and operational recommendations.
• Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets; experience with BI, analytics, or reporting tools is a plus.
• Strong organizational and project coordination skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with Marketing, Merchandising, Operations, Product, and technical teams.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and execution skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail and eCommerce environment.

Position Details:

• Employment Type: Full Time.
• Location: Onsite: 6338 Regio Ave., Buena Park, CA 90620.
• Travel: Occasional travel to store or training locations may be required.
• Available to work on weekends and holidays as necessary.

Compensation: $23 - $30 per hour.
