Parts Delivery Driver (Part-Time)

Summary As a part-time Parts Delivery Driver for Wisconsin Kenworth, your focus is on getting the right parts to the right people at the right time. Our Parts Delivery Drivers provide excellent customer service through the safe and efficient delivery of parts and products to our professional customers using a company‑provided vehicle. You will ensure efficient deliveries by quality‑checking orders that ultimately get our products in the hands of our customer. Responsibilities Driving locally to deliver heavy‑duty truck parts Ensures security of company assets, vehicles, and merchandise Maintains customer satisfaction by providing timely delivery, friendly service, and addressing any issues regarding product delivery Maintains personal and vehicle appearance Schedules and completes required training as needed Duties Deliver heavy‑duty truck parts Load and unload heavy‑duty truck parts from delivery vehicle Perform other duties assigned by supervisor Qualifications Must have a valid driver’s license or the ability to obtain one Must have a good driving record Must be able to pass a pre‑employment physical and drug screen Work Environment, Physical Demands Ability to sit, stand, bend, kneel, stoop, and lift/move up to 75 lbs. on a regular basis Ability to work in a dealership environment, including 8‑12 hour days with frequent exposure to weather elements Accountabilities Customer Focus: Actively looking for ways to identify customer needs and efficiently and effectively addressing those needs Communication – Visual and Verbal: Listening, speaking, and signaling so others can understand; communicate in spoken English well enough to be understood by others Teamwork: Working cooperatively in a professional demeanor to complete work assignments Health, Safety, and Security: Recognize and mitigate safety hazards including hazardous materials, environmental hazards, and accident conditions on a construction site; follow appropriate security procedures Scheduling and Coordinating: Making arrangements that fulfill all requirements as efficiently and economically as possible Problem Solving/Decision‑Making: Being open to change and to considerable variety in the workplace; understanding the importance of learning new information for future problem solving and decision making Adaptability and Lifelong Learning: Being open to change and to considerable variety in the workplace; understanding the importance of learning new information for future problem solving and decision making Note: This job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
