Registered Nurse Emergency Room

Job Summary:

Provides comprehensive emergency nursing care to patients in a fast-paced emergency department setting, ensuring patient safety and promoting optimal outcomes. Oversees and collaborates with healthcare team members to deliver timely, quality care.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Assess and interpret patient data to identify immediate health needs and priorities.
  
  
• 
  Develop and implement individualized care plans while ensuring adherence to established standards of emergency care.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate effectively with physicians, technicians, and support staff to coordinate patient treatment and discharge planning.
  
  
• 
  Administer medications, interventions, and treatments accurately and safely.
  
  
• 
  Educate patients and their families on health conditions, procedures, and self-care techniques.
  
  
• 
  Supervise and delegate tasks to nursing personnel, maintaining compliance with hospital policies and safety protocols.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
  
  
• 
  Possess current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor.
  
  
• 
  Maintain certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
  
  
• 
  Provide at least two years of recent experience in emergency or acute care nursing.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate strong critical thinking, clinical judgement, and communication skills.
