Clear Sky Family & Marriage Counseling PC is actively seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our dedicated team. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough bio-psychosocial assessments to identify individual and family needs, ensuring the development of effective and coherent treatment plans.
- Utilize evidence-based therapies to provide individual and group counseling, addressing issues ranging from anxiety and depression to behavioral challenges.
- Work closely with the Social Work Manager to evaluate and implement treatment options that align with best practices within the scope of social work ethics as defined by the NASW Code of Ethics.
- Document patient progress meticulously, maintaining accurate records within the patients' electronic medical records system to support continuity of care.
- Foster relationships with academic staff to integrate therapeutic strategies in the school setting, enhancing each child’s learning experience.
- Educate patients and families about mental health resources, advocating for services that enhance their understanding and management of the child’s social and emotional challenges.
- Engage in continuous professional development through training and educational activities to remain aware of emerging community resources and best practices in mental health.
Patient Population / Client Focus
The LCSW will primarily work with children and adolescents in a school environment, addressing a variety of psychosocial challenges. Patients will often come from diverse backgrounds, requiring an understanding of the cultural and developmental factors that influence their mental health. Your role is integral in teaching coping mechanisms, social skills, and advocacy strategies to enhance their quality of life and academic performance.
Qualifications
- A Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
- A valid and current Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license from the State Board of Social Work Licensure.
- Demonstrated knowledge of various mental health conditions, treatments, and psychosocial dynamics, particularly as they pertain to children and adolescents.
Preferred Experience
- A minimum of six months to one year of relevant clinical experience, preferably in a health or mental health setting focused on youth populations.
- Experience working within school systems or with educational institutions is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with community resources and social service networks available for families in need.
Compensation and Benefits
This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 85,000 to 100,000 annually, reflecting your qualifications and experience.
