Insurance & Authorization Specialist – Full Time
Elite Spine and Orthopedics is seeking a friendly, responsible, and hardworking individual to join our growing team. This is a full-time position in a fast-paced medical office environment. Our office hours are Monday through Friday.
Requirements:
- Prior experience with insurance verification is required
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Professional communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Obtaining authorizations and referrals for new patients, follow-up appointments, and injections
- Verifying patient eligibility and insurance benefits
- Answering billing-related phone calls
- Processing DME authorizations
- Obtaining radiology authorizations
- Working insurance denials and following up as needed
In addition to the responsibilities listed above, all employees must be willing and able to cross-train to assist in other office roles as needed to ensure smooth daily operations.
