JOB SUMMARY:
Ridglea Country Club is searching for an exceptional Fitness Front Desk Coordinator to assist with the daily operations of the Ridglea Country Club Fitness Center. Responsibilities for this position include the hiring, training, and managing of all fitness attendants and the cleanliness, organization member experience at the club’s fitness center. This position will also coordinate and manage all administrative duties within the fitness center. The role will also assist in the fitness department’s special events and club activities. The role will have a major scope on quality operation, service and activities for members and their guests. Maintains the Fitness Center in a clean, safe, and organized manner. Observes Club safety rules and guidelines. Responsibilities: Greeting members and guests Check people in, welcome new visitors, and create a positive first impression. Scheduleand payrollmanagement Handleclass, spa and personal trainingsign-ups,cancellationand billings. Manages the department’s food and beverage billing and inventory. Answering calls & emailsandassistguests will BLE-ID set up and fitness center access. Provide info about hours, services, pricing, and policies. Club safety andparticipatein club training programs. Keep an eye on cleanliness, report maintenance issues, and enforce basic rules. All tasks assigned by the Director of Fitness toassistwith the fitness center operation. Requirements: Must be able to get andmaintaina fitness instructor certification from a nationally recognized organization. College Degree Current CPR Certification Minimum of 3yearspriorfitness center experience highly preferred, notrequired. Mustbe willing and able to get a personal training certification if you do not already have one. Ability to perform all physical aspects of the position, including leading class, walking, standing, bending, reaching, and lifting. Personable, enthusiastic, patient, and outgoing personality Positive attitude and collaborative team player Ability toworka flexible schedule, with the schedule focused on Tuesday- Saturday evenings.
