Discovery & Acquisition Agent

We are looking for a proactive and research-driven Discovery & Acquisition Agent to identify, evaluate, and engage social media influencers and content creators who could become valuable marketing partners. This role combines influencer research, audience analysis, cold outreach, relationship building, and partnership qualification.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable researching influencers across multiple platforms, analyzing audience quality and engagement metrics, crafting personalized outreach, and nurturing prospects through the early stages of the partnership funnel.

Key Responsibilities

Influencer Research & Prospect Identification

• Identify influencers and content creators whose audiences align with target customer segments and business objectives.
• Research prospects across YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, podcasts, blogs , and other relevant platforms.
• Analyze follower counts, engagement rates, views, audience demographics, content quality, and overall brand fit.
• Evaluate audience relevance, engagement quality, comment sentiment, and potential for generating qualified leads.
• Build and maintain a structured database of potential partners with detailed research and evaluation notes.

Outreach & Relationship Building

• Conduct personalized cold outreach through email and social media.
• Introduce partnership opportunities and clearly communicate potential benefits and program structures.
• Respond to initial questions, address objections, and maintain professional communication with prospects.
• Follow up consistently to nurture relationships and move qualified prospects toward partnership discussions.
• Schedule qualified prospects for conversations with senior acquisition or partnership teams.

Data & Pipeline Management

• Request and analyze relevant audience and performance data from prospective influencers.
• Maintain accurate records of outreach activities, conversations, engagement history, and prospect status.
• Keep CRM and prospect databases updated with relevant information and qualification notes.
• Prepare regular reports covering outreach activity, qualified prospects, conversion progress, and pipeline health.

Market Research & Insights

• Monitor influencer marketing trends, emerging platforms, audience behaviors, and new partnership opportunities.
• Identify promising creators, emerging niches, and changing engagement patterns.
• Provide management with actionable insights and recommendations based on prospect research and market observations.

Process & Reporting

• Follow established outreach processes, communication standards, and partnership qualification guidelines.
• Maintain weekly activity reports and consistently work toward discovery and outreach targets.
• Escalate complex prospect questions or partnership concerns to the relevant team members.
• Ensure qualified prospects are properly documented and handed over for further acquisition discussions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in social media marketing, influencer marketing, business development, lead generation, or partnership development is preferred.
• Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to evaluate prospects using audience and engagement data.
• Understanding of social media platforms, influencer marketing, audience demographics, and engagement metrics.
• Strong cold outreach and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Ability to create personalized and professional outreach messages.
• Strong organizational skills with experience maintaining databases, spreadsheets, or CRM systems.
• Comfortable working independently, managing multiple prospects, and meeting weekly targets.
• Good understanding of partnership structures, value propositions, negotiations, and business development fundamentals.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with influencer marketing or creator partnerships.
• Familiarity with HubSpot, Salesforce, Agile CRM , or similar CRM platforms.
• Strong knowledge of Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel for tracking and analysis.
• Experience working with niche audiences and digital marketing partnerships.
• Familiarity with audience research and influencer analytics tools.
