Education and Experience 

• Minimum of 2 years of line cook experience required
• HS diploma or GED preferred

Job Summary: The Line Cook is an outgoing and dedicated individual who enjoys working in the hospitality industry. They have excellent people skills, the desire to go above and beyond what is expected, and a personable attitude.  

Job Tasks/Duties  

• Food preparation including cleaning and processing of ingredients, recipe building, firing entrees, desserts, and appetizers from scratch
• Assisting with stocking and setting up the kitchen station
• Working with servers to ensure that orders are completed according to request and on time
• Ensuring that the kitchen operation procedures and hygiene meet food safety standards and regulations

Licenses and Special Requirements 

• Food Handlers Permit

Physical Demands and Work Environment 

• Required to stand for long periods and walk, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, stretch, and twist or reach
• Push, pull, or lift 50 pounds
• Continuous repetitive motions
• Work in a hot, humid, and noisy environment
• The employee may encounter human blood pathogens or potential contamination in the work environment. 
  • Proper protective equipment and protocol should be used. 
  • Gloves, face masks, and eye protection must be worn where necessary.

Schedule: 

• Monday to Saturday, some Sundays required.
• Holidays required.
• Day and Night shifts

Hourly Rate: $15 - $18
