Our client is a business-minded law firm with a strong Mid-Atlantic presence and a collaborative litigation platform. This company represents companies and executives in sophisticated disputes and provides practical, strategic advocacy.

This role is built for a sophisticated litigator ready to lead matters and help drive team execution. Our client can partially fill the attorney’s plate through internal opportunities, but is seeking someone with an existing foundation of client work who can expand within the platform. You’ll oversee associate-run cases, step into ongoing matters, and act as a trusted advisor to clients.

Job Details

Experience:

• Significant commercial litigation experience with the ability to run cases end-to-end
• Partial portable book of business (target around ~$200K)
• Experience supervising associates and managing complex case strategy
• Strong writing and argument skills (motions practice, discovery disputes, dispositive briefing)
• Courtroom or arbitration experience strongly preferred
• Licensed in VA and/or MD; DC is a plus
