Diffusion Technician Supervisor

Position Summary Wolfspeed is seeking a Diffusion Technician Supervisor to lead a team of process and equipment technicians within the Diffusion module area, reporting to the Diffusion Engineering Manager. This role requires a strong FAB floor presence across all shifts and combines people leadership, equipment maintenance, and process operations under one supervisor. Schedule This position will work a 12‑hour day shift with a "3on-4off-4on-3off" alternating schedule. Schedule will be Front End Nights : Sunday – Tuesday and every other Saturday, 6pm–6:15am, or Back End Nights : Wednesday – Friday and every other Saturday, 6pm–6:15am. Responsibilities Lead, develop, and supervise a combined team of process and equipment technicians Maintain safety, department KPIs, and 5S compliance across the module Ensure production equipment is maintained to company standards with minimum downtime Manage training programs covering equipment operation, preventive maintenance, and process qualifications Establish and maintain PM procedures and OCAPs for semiconductor fabrication equipment Drive cross‑training between process and equipment technicians; maintain spare parts inventory Interface with Manufacturing Operations to support daily production priorities and throughput goals Partner with process and equipment engineering to improve SPC, scrap, rework, and cost‑reduction metrics Build relationships across departments to support cross‑functional problem solving and continuous improvement Qualifications A passion for leading technical teams in a high‑tech, fast‑paced environment BS degree with 2+ years of supervisory or management experience, or AS degree in an engineering or technology discipline with 5+ years of supervisory or management experience Equivalent military or semiconductor manufacturing experience with supervisory responsibility will also be considered Preferred Qualifications Experience supervising process and/or equipment technician teams in a semiconductor FAB Familiarity with metrology tools, SPC, OCAPs, and preventive maintenance programs Cleanroom experience Compensation Compensation Range: $77,000.00 – $106,000.00 Equal Opportunity We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law. #J-18808-Ljbffr
