Shift: 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Nebraska license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check. RTO must be requested upfront and is limited to 7 or fewer days per 13-week contract. Additional RTO will not be approved after submission.

Unit Details: Uses a Virtually Integrated Care dyad model with dedicated CNA support at 1:6/7 and virtual nurse support at 1:30. Patient population includes medical, surgical, and orthopedic patients. Tele is on the floor with a centralized tele station. Heparin is the only titratable drip used on the unit. Nurses may take 1:6 assignments at least once a week.

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend requirement: as needed. Holiday requirement: as needed. No call.

Floating Requirements: Float to PCU or Burn.

8 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1. Start assignment restriction: 14 days

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months
