Operating Room Surgical Technologist

Join our dynamic team as an Operating Room Surgical Technologist. In this role, you'll be an essential part of the surgical team, collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide the highest level of care in our state-of-the-art facilities.

Location: Asheville, NC

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 11:00 AM - 9:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of a sterile field throughout surgical procedures.
• Support surgeons and other healthcare team members during procedures by providing appropriate instruments and materials.
• Follow protocols for infection control and patient safety.
• Ensure proper handling and care of surgical instruments and equipment.
• Manage post-operative care and cleanup of the surgical area.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Broad surgical knowledge with experience in various surgical service lines, including general, GYN, robotics, neuro, orthopedics, plastic surgery, urology, burn, and trauma.
• Must possess relevant certifications and training as a Surgical Technologist.
• Successful completion of a surgical technology program preferred.
