Administrative Assistant, Nursing Program (Part-time, Onsite)

Wilson College invites applications for a part-time (24 hours/week) Administrative Assistant to support the Nursing Program. Reporting to the Program Director, this position provides comprehensive administrative support and plays a critical role in coordinating departmental operations, accreditation reporting, and student records management.

This position requires a highly organized, detail-oriented professional who can manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of discretion and professionalism.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Provide administrative support to the Nursing Program Director
• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of student, accreditation, and departmental reports
• Coordinate meetings and events, including scheduling, logistics, agenda preparation, and minute-taking
• Maintain accurate, organized, and confidential records and files
• Manage calendars, appointments, and departmental communications
• Draft correspondence and reports for departmental leadership
• Serve as a point of contact for students, faculty, and external partners
• Maintain office supplies and support general office operations
• Assist with special projects and initiatives as assigned

• None

POSITION TYPE AND EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK:

• Part-time; 24 hours per week.
• Work schedule to be determined in coordination with departmental needs.

TRAVEL:

• Limited travel within campus; no regular off-campus travel expected.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor's degree required
• Minimum of two (2) years of administrative experience in a professional environment

Equivalent combination of education and experience considered.

ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience in higher education or healthcare settings preferred
• Familiarity with accreditation processes and reporting preferred
• Experience with data management and report preparation preferred
