Claims Representative - Atlanta, GA

Federated Insurance We are looking for a claims coordinator to assist clients through the claims process and help them return to normalcy after a loss. What Will You Do? Customer-focused, a source of knowledge and comfort, and self-motivated. No previous insurance or claims experience needed; we provide comprehensive training. This is an in-office position located at 5607 Glenridge Drive, Atlanta, GA. A work-from-home option is not available. Responsibilities Work with policyholders, attorneys, contractors and others to ensure claims are resolved promptly, fairly, and courteously. Explain policy coverage to policyholders and third parties. Conduct thorough investigations and document facts related to claims. Determine the value of damaged items or accurately pay first‑party property loss benefits. Resolve claims, including paying, settling, or denying claims, defending policyholders in court, or recovering outstanding amounts. Minimum Qualifications Currently pursuing or have obtained a four‑year degree. Experience in a customer‑service role in industries such as retail, hospitality, logistics, banking, equipment dealerships, equipment rental, sales, or similar fields. Ability to make confident decisions based on available information. Strong analytical, computer, and time‑management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Leadership experience is a plus.
