Job Details

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the planning, administering, and directing speech therapy services cardiac, orthopedic, neurologic, vascular, pulmonary and medical-surgical patients

• Educate patient and family members in recommendations for diet modifications
• Work with interdisciplinary team for plan of care
• Knowledge of hospital, Joint Commission, state and federal guidelines

Requirements:

• • Master's degree in speech-language pathology required.
  • NYS SLP license and registration required
  • Previous hospital experience preferred
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively to staff members, management peers, and hospital administration.
  • Prior experience with EPIC preferred
  • Prior experience with Modified Barium Swallow study required
  • BLS Certification through the American Heart Association.
  • Experience with trach/vent population required.

Posted Salary Range

USD $45.96 - USD $57.50 /Hr.
