About This Office

Lee's Summit Family & Cosmetic Dental Care is a thriving, patient-centered practice supported by a collaborative team of 10 dedicated professionals. Our office prides itself on delivering high-quality comprehensive care in a welcoming, upbeat, and relationship-focused environment where both patients and team members feel valued and supported.

We operate on a consistent, well-structured schedule that promotes both productivity and work-life balance: Monday and Tuesday from 7:15 AM–5:00 PM, Wednesday from 7:45 AM–5:30 PM, Thursday from 7:15 AM–4:30 PM, and one Friday per month from 7:45 AM–1:00 PM. Our team is intentional about maintaining a positive flow throughout the day while ensuring each patient receives personalized, attentive care.

We are seeking a Dental Hygienist who brings both clinical excellence and outstanding interpersonal skills to the team. The ideal candidate is extroverted, approachable, and naturally sociable, with a strong chairside manner that helps patients feel comfortable and confident in their care. A passion for patient education, empathy, and patience are essential, along with the ability to remain composed and detail-oriented in a fast-paced setting.

Success in this role requires strong time management, effective written and verbal communication skills, and a proactive, self-motivated mindset. We value individuals who are collaborative, respectful, and committed to maintaining a high standard of care through strong work ethic and sound moral and ethical judgment. Clinical skills such as manual dexterity, physical stamina, and problem-solving abilities are critical, as is a willingness to learn and grow alongside the team.

Qualifications:

• Current dental hygienist license
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
• CPR Certification

Preferred Experience

• Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
• Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health
• Clinical needs as required by office
• Completion of Tuberculosis (TB) testing prior to starting employment
