## Job Requirements & Qualifications for Cath Lab RN - **Experience Requirements:** - Minimum 2 years of RN experience required. - Minimum 1 year of experience in Cath Lab, competent in all aspects of Cath Lab Diagnostic and Intervention including Structural. - Travel experience required. - **Leadership Experience:** - Previous charge experience preferred. - **Clinical Experience:** - Community hospital experience preferred. - Long Term Acute Care (LTAC) experience preferred. - Trauma Level I and Trauma Level II experience preferred. - **Certifications:** - ACLS and BLS certifications required, must be through the American Heart Association (AHA). - PALS if required by the unit. - **Licensure:** - West Virginia (WV) or Compact License required; pending license accepted for submission. - **Special Skills:** - Experience with Cerner charting system preferred. - **Additional Requirements:** - Two Manager and/or Charge Nurse references from the past 2 years required. - Candidates must have a permanent address at least 100 miles from the facility. Those between 75-100 miles may be considered on a case-by-case basis. - Must have active WV license in hand to start assignment. - **Other Notes:** - Former permanent employees must wait 2 years from last permanent employment date before returning as a traveler. - Current Vandalia Health System employees are not eligible for travel contracts within the health system. - COVID-19 vaccine not required; flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only).
