The Hyatt Regency Coralville Hotel & Conference Center is looking for a dependable, hardworking Houseperson to support our Housekeeping team in creating clean, organized, and welcoming spaces for every guest.

In this hands-on role, you'll help ensure our guest floors, public areas, and housekeeping operations stay stocked, clean, and running efficiently. If you enjoy staying active, take pride in your work, and like being part of a team that makes a difference every day, we'd love to meet you.

Schedule & Pay

• Starting pay: $16.00/hour, with opportunities for growth based on experience
• Full-time, non-exempt (overtime eligible)
• Primarily 1st and 2nd shifts , including weekends and holidays as business needs and hotel occupancy dictate

What You’ll Do

As a Houseperson, you'll play an essential role in supporting our Housekeeping team by ensuring guest floors, storage areas, and public spaces remain clean, organized, and fully stocked. You'll help create a seamless guest experience by responding quickly to team needs while maintaining Hyatt's high standards of cleanliness and hospitality.

Responsibilities include:

• Support Room Attendants by stocking linen closets and delivering supplies
• Deliver clean linens and remove soiled linens throughout the hotel
• Set up and deliver rollaway beds, cribs, refrigerators, and other guest requests
• Maintain guest hallways, stairwells, storage rooms, and back-of-house areas
• Remove trash, recyclables, dishware, and other items from guest floors
• Complete specialized cleaning projects, including carpet care, upholstery, windows, and ice machines
• Assist with furniture moves and room setup as needed
• Monitor housekeeping equipment and report maintenance concerns
• Keep housekeeping storage areas organized and fully stocked
• Respond promptly to radio calls and guest requests
• Promote a safe, clean, and organized work environment
• Work collaboratively with fellow housekeeping associates and other hotel departments
• Perform additional duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For

We're looking for dependable team players who enjoy staying active, take pride in maintaining a clean and organized environment, and are committed to providing exceptional guest service. The ideal candidate is reliable, hardworking, and enjoys working as part of a supportive hospitality team.

Ideal candidates will have:

• Previous housekeeping, custodial, hotel, healthcare, or commercial cleaning experience preferred
• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
• Positive attitude with excellent teamwork skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
• Basic English communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, push, pull, and remain physically active throughout the shift
• Commitment to providing exceptional guest service

Previous housekeeping, cleaning, or hospitality experience is preferred but not required.
