Job Title: Physical Therapist Profession: PT Specialty: Therapy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day shift Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years preferred License: Required Certifications: None Must-Have Skills/Experience: Some inpatient experience (either inpatient rehabilitation facilities, skilled nursing facilities, or acute care) Description: This is a state-of-the-art, 59-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital dedicated to the treatment and recovery of individuals who have experienced the debilitating effects of severe injury or illness. The rehabilitation programs provide ongoing care and specialized treatment to patients throughout their recovery journey. Customized and intense rehabilitation is tailored to the individual needs of those recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury. The facility strives to maximize the health, function, and quality of life of those served through comprehensive physical medicine and rehabilitation programs. The facility is proud to hold relevant certifications in quality and outcomes. The hospital has a patient ratio of 6 patients per therapist. Additional information includes the use of electronic health records. The work attire includes any color scrub bottoms and a blue or slate gray top made from dri-fit material or polo shirts, with the option of wearing a black or gray zip-up jacket when needed. This position does not require overtime or call requirements.
