About the Position

Job Title: Sterile Processing Tech Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: Sterile Processing Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 8 (20:00 - 06:30) Experience: Minimum of 3 years in sterile processing License: Not specified Certifications: CBSPD or CRCST Must-Have: Experience with decontamination, assembly, and sterilization processes Description: We are seeking experienced candidates in sterilization and processing. Shift is from 10 PM to 6:30 AM with occasional holidays. Candidates may be required to float to other facilities. Experience in decontamination of various medical equipment, including drills, scopes, and assemblies is essential. Candidates should be familiar with sterilization processes such as Sterrad and steam. High-Level Disinfection (HLD) and scope experience are required. Candidates need to have sterile storage and OR liaison experience. Familiarity with the Censitrac tracking system is also necessary. This facility is a busy Level One trauma center. Candidates must have prior experience in similar settings. Travelers with a minimum of three years of relevant experience are welcome to apply. Reference requirements include two professional references. One reference must come from a leadership position.
